pissed but relieved

i did not push through.

i am relieved.

i was nervous as a wreck. kahit pa sinabi na "lalake lang yan!". it's the unfamiliarity with their culture or character that scares the hell out of me.

it did not push through. for one thing, he moved the time an hour later. i wanted to cancel but i gave him a chance.

so i had to kill time at the office for 2 hours.

next was, he did not know the place so i settled to meet where he is familiar with. he did not know where ayala avenue is to think he said he is living in makati.

he promised to call me back. 15 minutes later on the said time, i texted and said that it is getting late and to have it some other time.

he texted back saying he was so sorry he got caught up with work (blah, blah, blah) and owes me a good lunch.

i did not reply back.

good riddance. ain't worth it. ain't worth wasting my precious time.

NEXT!!!

as the date doctor hitch advices...Life is not the amount of breaths you take, it's the moments that take your breath away...

to be sure every moments which take our breath away are certainly wonderful moments, some magnificent milestone or a celebration or some other important events in our lives - falling in love for another time, they are the smiles and the joys of special moments, frozen in time, the moments which take our breath away are moments that will become treasured and special memories we can cherish throughout our lives...

i know!! so i am really looking forward to that moment.

and also what i said before:
"if i should shed tears for the rest of my life, let it not be of sadness but tears of joy."

God gave me this chance and i am positive that in His time, it will come.

so for now, i will reap the benefits of being a single lady!

thanks, earth! whoever you are. :)
