destination: kota kinabalu, malaysia

it is 3:14 am. i just finished packing for a week-long vacation outside the country. the one thing that i make sure to accomplish yearly. so, in about 13 hours, i will going to kota kinabalu for my next travel destination. this time, i will be with 3 other girls ready for an unforgettable experience of adventure, nightlife, shopping and food!

this trip was planned for more than a month. from booking the ticket late february, endless googling and email exchanges between hotel reservations to tour inquiries. with so much information in my head, excitement is kaput!! hopefully this bug will bit me soon enough.

april created our itinerary from april 6-10. our schedule will be packed the whole day until the wee ours of the morning. she made sure that our stay there will be worthwhile and varied. from white water rafting at kiulu river, beach trip at tunku abdul rahman park, food tripping in ocean seafood restaurant and little italy to nightlife at shenanigans or blue note. shopping and cultural tour is on the list as well and we are planning to go to 1borneo rainforest. and the list goes on. hopefully we get to visit the major attractions in the city.

can't wait for the much needed R&R. i definitely will be having fun for the summer of 2009 -- my pre-birthday gift treat to myself.
