got curious about Julia Roberts' new movie Eat, Pray, Love that i decided to buy the book and read it.
in 5 days, i've finished it and boy, was i inspired to do what the author did. travel through italy, india and indonesia over the course of 1 year discovering oneself and nurse herself from a broken heart. eventually finding love at the end of her journey.
anyway, i can't seem to make my mind form a good paragraph for this entry but here are some of the things that pops up into my head that shows my reflection about the book:
1. i like to learn french even, as the author would say, could never make a practical justification for studying it.
2. i like to travel and stay in a country for extended period of a time - neither be a tourist nor a resident of that country (if only i got the moolah for it)
3. to be spiritual, to connect with God.
4. to live in the now. not sulking about the past nor worry about the future.
5. to be in a place where rarely you would feel the negativity.
6. to get to have friends who would be there to knock your head and make you realize that there is more to life than sulking on the negativity.
well, this is a good read. and i want to purchase here next book "Committed".
that's all for now. :)
