new thing & myron's place

got a new shades. this time, a branded one. it's an oakley zero sunglasses.

my sister and me got one and it is given by my brother diko. whoopee!! another gift from my loving siblings.

we didn't even ask for it.

ate dinner at myron's place in greenbelt 5 to celebrate the birthday of my sister and post valentine na rin.

i chose the place because it is one of the nominees of the 2008 manila's best kept restaurant secrets for best steakhouse.

i love eating steaks. so obviously, we ordered the franco's cut cooked medium with baked potato, shiraz cabernet-shallot jus and mushroom as our gravy to share between me, my sister and niece.

we also ordered their mesclun salad with seared tuna and miso dressing for our appetizer and grilled mojito chicken with grilled banana and mango rice.

me and my sister got a glass of merlot for our steak. as usual, i was a little bit tipsy. i refuse to sip the wine and drank more than the usual instead. :D

food was great!! well, the salad and the steak, i mean. we had a taste of the chicken a little bit. unfortunately for the chicken, we ignored it because we were so busy finishing the steak. it was enough for the three of us. actually, for me and my sister as my niece apparently told her mom that she no longer wants to eat steak. good! more for us! hahahaha!!

i still have to find out if the chicken is good too. it will be my lunch baon tomorrow.

so my steak craving was satisfied until maybe, next month. i am eyeing Duo for our next steak adventure.

didn't get pictures of the food we ate. we were just so excited to eat the steak. maybe next time.
