we decided to check out sunday mass schedule at the Shrine of Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life. looking at the billboard where schedules are posted, i find it hard to read when all of a sudden, gemma read it so clearly.
"hala! ..." as gemma said. nahirapan akong magbasa!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

i can't believe it. after 32 years, my eyes started to have problems.
we decided to visit an optical shop to verify her claim. while waiting, i got sad. i can't accept that i no longer have a 20/20 vision.
first off, they measured my eye through a machine. i asked the girl what was the result. she told me, i have to wait for the doctor. i asked again and saw the reading was 75/100. i got even sadder. gemma's suspicion was confirmed and i can't accept the fact that i need to start wearing glasses.
i always thought that i'll be wearing those in my 40's or even 50's. NOT NOW!
the doctor put those geeky spectacles on me. after placing some lenses, i find it hard to explain what was the difference. but one thing though, my eyes became comfortable when i read the smallest letters.
in the end, the final reading was 25/25. she said that it is just for corrective purposes. just to help me eyes feel comfortable most especially when i am using the computer. protection for my eyes as well.
thank God! i don't need to wear it everytime. all i needed is to have my eyes check every year. hopefully it'll stay there.
it better be.
